Egyptian Ambassador to Russia Ihab Nasr reported the intention of the Egyptian side to resume the air traffic with Russia in the nearest future.
According to RIA Novosti, Nasr noted that Egypt had already resumed flights to many countries, and therefore Cairo hopes that soon it would be possible to establish flights to Moscow. First of all, we are talking about flights to Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada.
Nasr also reminded that Egypt would be glad to welcome Russian tourists. And tourists, in turn, can not to be worried about the situation in the country, since the airports are using serious measures to combat the infection - in particular, sanitary measures and rapid tests for Covid-19.
Egypt, like most of the countries, stopped all the international flights in March.
Now its borders are open to the majority of states. By the beginning of August, 26,000 tourists have spent their vacations in Egypt. The Egyptian side also notes that the number of diseases in the country is steadily decreasing.
