According to ATOR, two European countries - Croatia
and Malta, are ready to welcome the tourists from Russia.
The rest of the EU countries have not expressed such a desire yet due to the threat of the spread of COVID-19, as Russia is still in the "red" zone in terms of incidence. Their decision will definitely not change until mid-August - the Russian Federation was not included in the list of countries citizens of which will be able to enter the European Union from August 1. The next reconsideration of the list will take place in mid-August.
We should remind our readers that since March 27, Russia has limited the number of regular and charter international flights – the air traffic was working only for the purpose of returning Russians from abroad.
A week earlier, the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that Russian citizens will be able to visit the UK, Turkey and Tanzania from August 1. After that, Russia is going to resume the flights to the Maldives, to the United Arab Emirates and, most likely, to the South Korea.
