CHINESE KIDS WILL BE ALLOWED TO PLAY VIDEO GAMES ONLY THREE HOURS A WEEK
The Chinese government has imposed restrictions on video games for minors. Now they will be allowed to play no more than an hour three times a week.

For all Chinese citizens under the age of 18, online games will be available on a strict schedule - 1 hour on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8 pm to 9 pm local time. Children will also be allowed to play during Chinese national holidays.
China is trying to prevent the emergence of gambling addiction among children and teenagers.
The first restrictions were introduced by the country's authorities in 2019 - minors were banned from playing from 10 pm to 8 am. In addition, on weekdays (except Friday), no more than 1.5 hours could be spent on online games.

Game manufacturing companies will be obliged to monitor the implementation of the new regulations themselves. Now they have to implement verification schemes, perhaps it will be a face recognition system. It's also worth noting that restrictions on online gaming have emerged in China amid the crackdown on big tech companies.

For example, Alibaba received a record nearly $ 3 billion in fines for violating antitrust laws. Tencent video game company lost $ 14 billion after Chinese authorities had compared video games with opium. We should note that Tencent company owns the rights to one of the most popular online games in the world - League of Legends.
