BANKRUPTCY TRUSTEE FROM NORTH OSSETIA SUSPECTED OF CRIME
The bankruptcy of the Progress company attracted the attention of the district prosecutor's office. The company from the city of Ardon, which was undergoing liquidation, was declared bankrupt at the end of 2019 (¹ À61-5754 / 19). Tatiana Shupa was appointed a bankruptcy trustee.

The bankruptcy trustee transferred all the property of the company, including equipment, buildings, territory and ‘SPU-3’ railway sidings under the lease agreement. Moreover, the transaction was onerous and in the absence of any consent from the collateral lender.

During the check, prosecutors found out that ‘SPU-3’ was engaged in the extraction of sand and gravel, for which a license was required. The tenant did not have such permits, so all the necessary reports and production tax were paid by the Progress company, which was at the stage of bankruptcy and owed employees a salary of 5.1 million rubles.

Starting from 2020, the tenant's income from illegal sand mining amounted to 31 million rubles.

Nobody tried to replenish the bankruptcy estate of the bankrupt company in this way, although the Progress regularly paid taxes.

As a result, it was decided to initiate several criminal cases at once. The bankruptcy trustee is accused of illegal actions (part 1 of article 195 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and the heads of ‘SPU-3’ may face penalties for illegal business (part 2 of article 171 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The press service of the prosecutor's office, which released the data, stressed out that the course of the investigation will be under control.
