AN OPEN DECLARATION ON THE PREVENTION OF BUSINESS BANKRUPTCY WAS SIGNED ON 18 JUNE
The document was signed by Tatyana Mineeva, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Entrepreneurs' Rights in Moscow, and the Association of Lawyers and Legal Companies for Registration, Liquidation, Bankruptcy and Legal Representation, represented by Vladimir Kuznetsov.
The declaration is aimed at the jobs preserving and reduction of the social tension in the region, regular tax revenues to the budget from the enterprises, increasing of the competitiveness of business and the investment attractiveness of the region.
“To perform a comprehensive and productive work, it is necessary to establish active interaction within the entrepreneurial community and the interaction of business with authorities, especially with the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights. Our goal is to join the efforts to improve the level of the bankruptcy culture and prevent its inadvertent procedure. Bankruptcy is an extreme, but not catastrophic measure. It should not be a social drama.
“Our cooperation will reduce the number of prosecutions and protect entrepreneurs,” noted Vladimir Kuznetsov, the vice president of the Association.
The main areas of work are the assistance in obtaining legal support for entrepreneurs, prevention of the risks of companies, creation of the advisory and expert working groups and boards in order to develop the proposals and measures to support business.
An important area of activity will be the development and initiation of the legislative initiatives to improve existing regulations in the field of business protection and bankruptcy prevention.
“Yes, we receive a lot of appeals from entrepreneurs related to the bankruptcy dilemma. We need to work with the business community to develop solutions to clarify the legal framework, to create the mechanisms for the bankruptcy prevention and business protection, as well as for the capitalization increase and the increase of lending the businesses, affected by the pandemic,” said Tatyana Mineeva, the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights in Moscow.
The Declaration is open for accession by the representatives of the Moscow city business community: the legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, experts, government officials, government bodies and structures, public associations, supporting the ideas and goals of the Declaration.
“There are big plans ahead. The Moscow Center
for Bankruptcy Prevention and Business Protection will soon be created. We are
going to invite all the colleagues involved in the ecosystem of the Public Reception
Center under the Commissioner for the Protection of the Entrepreneurs' Rights
to work with us. A Board of Trustees will be formed as well. The center will be
open to provide a range of professional services for the prevention of
bankruptcy and business protection, ”Vladimir Kuznetsov summed up.
