ALLEGED SELLERS OF FAKE COVID-19 VACCINATION CERTIFICATES DETAINED IN MOSCOW
Moscow police have detained three suspects in making and sale of fake certificates of vaccination against Covid-19. A criminal case, the defendants of which face up to two years in prison, has been initiated.

The detention was carried out by law enforcement officers in the western administrative district of Moscow. First, the police detained a courier who was delivering a certificate of vaccination to the alleged client, who in fact has not been vaccinated. According to the investigation, the man is an employee of a company that provides delivery services.

Later, the officers detained a man who handed over a forged document to the courier. The last in the chain was the maker of certificates, who supposedly filled in the forged documents.

During the investigation process, dozens of seals of medical institutions were found, as well as blank forms of vaccination certificates and stamps with the name of the vaccine.

The sale of fakes was organized through an online store, the price of one certificate reached 5 thousand rubles, reports the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The investigation continues to search for possible participants and organizers of illegal activities.
