Alec Baldwin was to shoot blanks on a movie set. However, the weapon had live cartridges inside, which led to a tragedy.
The incident took place on the set of the western’Rust’ in the US state of New Mexico. Alec Baldwin had a firearm in his hands, but at the time of the shot it turned out that it was loaded with live cartridges. Among the injured were 42-year-old cinematographer Galina Hutchins and 48-year-old director Joel Souz. Hutchins subsequently passed away, and Souz is in critical condition at the hospital.
