AEROFLOT CANCELLED A NUMBER OF FLIGHTS IN AUGUST

Aeroflot Company announced the cancellation of some scheduled international flights until the end of the summer. The list of countries that will be more difficult to get to is published on the carrier's official website.

The destinations of the air traffic were reconsidered due to the difficulties of the pandemic. If a ticket for a cancelled flight is purchased from May 1 on the official website, the funds will be returned automatically. Those who purchased the tickets at the sales offices or agencies will have to contact the place of purchase. In addition, passengers have the opportunity to get a voucher.

Aeroflot's list of canceled flights includes numerous European destinations, as well as flights to the USA, Israel, Kazakhstan and other countries.

We should recall that since the end of March, Russia has closed the borders for international flights due to the danger of the spread of coronavirus. On August 1, the borders with Turkey, Great Britain and Tanzania were opened, and a little later Abkhazia was included in the list. Now the active work to open other directions is underway, while Europe still has no plans to welcome Russians.
