A PENSIONER FROM MOSCOW DETAINED FOR A SEXUAL ASSAULT COMMITTED IN 1974

It became known that a resident of Moscow was detained for a gang rape committed almost 50 years ago. Now the man is 64 years old, he admitted his guilt.

According to the law enforcement agencies, the police detained a man born in 1956. We are talking about a crime that was committed on October 25, 1974 - a 17-year-old girl was raped on Izmailovsky highway by three peers.

According to the Life Shot telegram channel, on the day of the incident, the detainee was 18 years old, and he and his friends celebrated the receipt of their first salary. The suspect himself said that the girl accompanied them, and everything happened by her consent. He also said that he did not take part in the direct rape, as he was in a state of alcoholic intoxication and was unable to do it.

The girl was allegedly not at home all night, and when she returned, her parents forced her to lodge a complaint with the police.

The detainee told the telegram channel that for the sake of settling the conflict, he made a proposal, but the girl rejected it. As a result, two of the men's friends were imprisoned for 10-12 years, and later they got another term - in prison they killed a prisoner who tried to snub them.

The man noted that he was not arrested because the girl herself, who was allegedly in love with him, asked for it. However, he still ended up in jail - for stabbing an acquaintance with a knife when being drunk. After serving time in a prison, the man got a job as a builder and got married. Now he has four grandchildren.

The detainee has been released in his own custody. Experts note that in this case, we can hardly talk about real imprisonment. Most likely, the case will be closed due to the expiration of the term of limitation - under the article on rape, it is 15 years.
