A 42-year-old woman intentionally got infected herself and infected her relatives with the coronavirus in order to have a mild disease and get immunity. However, the woman eventually died.
The story of the incident was posted on Facebook by the head of the Semeynaya clinic, Pavel Brand. The woman was convinced that if she became infected with COVID-19 from a person with mild disease, she could also count on it. As a result, she went to visit her friend who had a mild disease of coronavirus together with her two daughters.
The first to fall ill was her 9-year-old daughter and almost immediately she got into intensive care, but later she recovered. The second daughter and husband had a mild disease, but the woman herself died.
Pavel Brand noted that the idea of getting an infection from a person who has it in a mild form is, unfortunately, quite popular.
There are even ‘covid parties’ where people come to get infected. However, the only way that can guarantee minimal consequences from the coronavirus is vaccination.
We should remind our readers that by the decree of Vladimir Putin, from October 30 to November 7, a non-working day regime was introduced in Russia - the decision was made due to the complicated situation with the coronavirus. In a number of regions with a particularly high incidence, the lockdown will be introduced earlier and may be extended after November 7.
