A recent survey conducted among the entrepreneurs showed that 2020 has already become a challenge for them, and if the restrictions are reintroduced, many will simply not be able to cope with the load and will be forced to terminate the activities.

Thus, according to a survey conducted by the office of the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs of Russia, 77% of respondents from 85 regions of the country stated that they would not withstand reintroduction of the restrictions and would close out.

The main difficulty for the entrepreneurs remains a sharp decline in demand.

More than a half of the respondents note that the current demand amounts to only 50% of what it has been before the pandemic. A quarter of respondents note a decrease in interest in their products by 25% compared to the same period last year.

Another difficulty for businessmen is the need to pay taxes, the payment of which has been deferred earlier and must be paid by the end of the year. However, despite such negative consequences, there is also a positive aspect associated with maintaining jobs. Over 50% of respondents noted that they managed to keep jobs for 80-100% of their employees.
