40 THOUSAND CLIENTS OF VTB BANK WILL HAVE A CREDIT VACATION

The day before, Andrei Kostin, the head of VTB, one of the largest Russian banks,, reported on the results of work in this direction at a meeting with Vladimir Putin.

For the first third of April, VTB received many applications for the credit vacation from the representatives of the small and micro-businesses for a total of 226 billion rubles. The entrepreneurs have already received an approval for the amount of 160 billion rubles.

In addition, the bank is actively working with citizens, providing them with the opportunity to take advantage of credit vacation. More than 40 thousand Russians have already received this privilege. The most popular among the population are the deferrals of mortgages, car loans and cash loans.

The President reminded the head of the bank of the need for real simplification of a number of banking procedures, the active development of call centers, as well as of the increasing the availability of banking services via the Internet.
