3 patients died in St. Petersburg after gastroenterological screening

According to Interfax, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the fact of causing death by negligence. The tragedy took place in the City Consultative and Diagnostic Center No. 1 of the Vyborg District - the deceased and injured patients were examined from January 17 to 26.
Barium is used in fluoroscopy as a contrast agent. According to one version, doctors could also mix up the substances and give patients a different drug.
