117 HOURS OF LYING: A RESIDENT OF MONTENEGRO WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP OF LAZINESS
The annual championship of laziness was again held In Montenegro - its participants compete in the ability to stay in a horizontal position for as long as possible.  According to the rules, you can drink, eat, sleep and read, but only in lying position.

This year, the winner set a new record - 117 hours of doing nothing.

The competition was held for the tenth time in the Montenegrin village of Brenza.  Not only Montenegrins, but also residents of other countries took part in it, but the local resident Duda Aleksic has become a winner.
The woman set a new record - 117 hours of lying. Before, the time of doing nothing was limited to 49 hours.
Then the record was set by three residents of the republic at once, who decided to share the first place, having received a prize of 400 euros.

For winning the competition this year, there was also a cash prize, but only 300 euros.  It is worth noting that the material reward did not appear immediately - at first the title and a commemorative diploma were given for the victory.
It is no coincidence that the competition is held in Montenegro: the inhabitants of the country say that laziness is in their blood and even make jokes on this topic.
According to the organizer of the competition, Micho Blagojevic, the idea of   holding the competition came to him precisely because of the well-established stereotype of lazy Montenegrins.  Probably, there is some truth in this, because despite the participation of foreigners, only residents of the republic win in the competition.
