URALAVTODOR IS BEING PREPARED FOR BANKRUPTCY

On September 15, the Chelyabinsk arbitration is planning to hold a meeting on the bankruptcy case of Uralavtodor JSC. The company has been under surveillance since May under VTB's March lawsuit. According to the data published on Fedresource, a temporary manager applied to the court for declaring the company insolvent and introducing bankruptcy proceedings.

Earlier, he held a meeting of creditors, following which a committee of three VTB representatives was formed. The credit institution demanded 371.5 million rubles from the defendant. In total, 28 creditors appear in the case.

It is known that the debts to VTB from the road company arose in connection with the loan agreement. The organization received borrowed funds from the bank in 2020, but could not return the money.

Since 2019, the Ural company has signed contracts for 12 billion rubles, winning 41 tenders.

The largest orders for the repair, maintenance and construction of road routes were tenders for the repair of the Irtysh highway (Kurgan region), repair (in 2018) and maintenance (until 2023) of the M-5 highway.

Until April last year, the Novosibirsk Avtodor group was considered the main beneficiary of the Ural company. After the change of ownership, the organization stopped participating in new auctions. There was also no information about the conclusion of any new contracts by the company related to the repair and maintenance of roads.

According to data from open sources, the company was profitable until 2020. In 2019, its profit amounted to 58 million. However, the company ended 2020 with losses of 160 million rubles, and its revenue decreased by 20% to 2.2 billion rubles.
