TWITTER PLANS TO SUE ELON MUSK OVER REFUSAL TO BUY THE COMPANY
It became known that Twitter turned to lawyers (law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz). This was done in order to sue billionaire Elon Musk, who refused a deal to acquire a social network.

According to Bloomberg, the company plans to appeal to the US court of Delaware – that's where Twitter is registered. It is also known that the interests of Elon Musk will be represented by the law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP. Previously, these lawyers had already represented Musk's interests.

Earlier, Elon Musk announced plans to buy Twitter, but later refused the deal, considering that Twitter violates the provisions of the merger agreement. The fact is that Twitter did not provide the Mask with data about spam and fake accounts.

Musk has been requesting this information for 2 months, but has not received a response.

Sources report that Musk assumes a greater number of fake accounts on Twitter than 5%.

On April 25, Twitter accepted Elon Musk's $44 billion acquisition offer. But in mid-May, the deal stopped because of the billionaire's desire to find out the exact number of fake users. Maske threatened that the deal would be terminated if the data were not provided, and eventually refused to buy.
