TIKTOK VIDEO ENDED IN JUDICIAL CASE OF OFFENDING THE FEELINGS OF BELIEVERS

A case on the fact of offending the feelings of believers was initiated in Moscow. The reason for this was a TikTok video, in which young people presumably drank alcohol near the icon.

The incident took place in the Zyuzinsky district of Moscow, where three young men were filming a video not far from one of the houses.

At the same time, the girl was depicting a table, being on all fours, and two guys presumably drank vodka against the background of an icon.

Later Moscow 24 TV channel published a video, in which an indignant man approached the young people. TikTokers began to explain to a by-passer that they did not believe in God, and that icons were perceived as pictures. Probably not satisfied with the answers, the by-passer repeatedly hit the girl in the face.

The incident attracted the attention of the law enforcement officers, a case has already been initiated under Part 1 of Article 148 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, reports the Moscow City News Agency. The article establishes responsibility for insulting the feelings of believers. The punishment for committing such a crime ranges from a fine of 300 thousand rubles to imprisonment for a year.

At the moment, the law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the case, as well as the persons involved in the commission of the crime.
