The owner of the Central Children's Store in Lubyanka, Lubyanka Development JSC, filed a lawsuit against Vandrekind JSC (Hamleys toy store chain). This is stated in the file of arbitration cases.

So, the first one intends to collect 89 million rubles from the second one. The reason for the appeal to the instance is not specified. Recall that the chain of stores belongs to the Russian billionaire Alexander Mamut.

Earlier, the Trust Bank filed a lawsuit against Hamleys. More than 2.5 billion rubles are required from the toy store chain: 1.8 billion – the main debt, 415 million – urgent interest on the loan, 162 million – overdue interest.

In 2017, a loan agreement was concluded between Hamlis Lubyanka CJSC and Otkritie Financial Corporation Bank, under which the former received funds from the credit institution in the amount of 2 billion rubles at 13.5% per annum.

The term of the credit line was set until December 31 of the current year, the parties repeatedly extended the repayment schedule. In addition, as a guarantee for the fulfillment of obligations under the contract, Alexander Mamut provided a guarantee.

After the reorganization of Otkritie Financial Corporation Bank, the right of claim under this agreement passed to the plaintiff – PJSC Bank TRUST, which sent the defendant a claim for early fulfillment of obligations under the agreement.
