THE FEDERAL TAX SERVICE WILL BANKRUPT NIKOLAY DROZDOV'S TV COMPANY
At the end of autumn 2023, the tax authorities (IFNS No. 17) appealed to the capital arbitration court with a claim for bankruptcy of TK ASS-TV. At the end of the year, the application was accepted by the court for consideration. The hearing in the case (no. A40-277050/2023) is scheduled for February 13, 2024.
TK ASS-TV is a television company engaged in filming popular scientific and educational programs. The company appeared in 1999 and filmed, in particular, the releases of "In the World of Animals", "The Obvious is Incredible", "The Travelers Club". According to open source data, Nikolay Drozdov is the co-founder of the organization with a 35% stake. Other co-founders of the TV company are Yuri Lapin (35%) and Irina Lapina (30%).
According to RG, the studio stopped working on its own projects back in 2018. At that time, the company's revenue reached 15 million. In 2020, the organization last released financial indicators on zero revenue and profit. At the same time, the company lost a lawsuit to the St. Petersburg TV channel, which resulted in the recovery of 747 million rubles.
In recent years, TK ASS-TV has received deductions from the screenings of previously filmed TV programs. At the same time, the tax authorities periodically engaged in blocking bank accounts, without attempting to forcibly liquidate the film company. Why the founders did not think about the voluntary termination of the company's work is not reported.
