THE TAX SERVICE WILL BANKRUPT THE BATHS IN VOLZHSKY

The division of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation (MI Federal Tax Service of Russia No. 2 in the Volgograd region) in early May 2023 appealed to the Volgograd arbitration with an initiative to declare the Volzhsky bath complex (TIN 3435132329) insolvent. The hearing on the case (no. A12-11029/2023), originally scheduled for June 1, was postponed to July 3.

According to local publications, financial problems in the company, established in 2017, arose five years ago. The company then changed its management and the tax authorities began to have regular complaints.

In 2019 (case no. A12-37462/2019) and in 2021 (case no. A12-24629/2021), the inspectors of the Federal Tax Service have already appealed to the company with the threat of recognition of insolvency. However, it was not possible to convince the court of the need for such a step then. The company had no property to finance the bankruptcy procedure.

According to the FSSP database, the total amount of claims against the company for enforcement proceedings is about 2 million. However, official reports show that the company made a profit in 2022 (813 thousand), despite a 27% reduction in revenue. Its volume amounted to 14 million. The value of the company's assets is estimated at 13.8 million.

Locals note that baths in the city of Volzhsky have existed since Soviet times. Since then, despite their privatization, there have been no drastic changes in the work of the enterprise. No repairs are being done, and the equipment is gradually wearing out. The only change is the increase in the cost of visiting the baths.

Currently, the official owners of the organization are Nikolai Romanov and Natalia Maksimova. Romanov is the head of the company. In Novorossiysk and Volzhsky, he is the beneficiary of four more legal entities. All of them are connected with electrical installation works or are engaged in the production of electronic equipment for transport.
