THE PERM TRADING NETWORK IS THREATENED WITH BANKRUPTCY AGAIN
On September 14, 2023, the arbitration of the Perm Region received a claim for the insolvency of the company "Oblprod". The initiators were cargo carriers from Barnaul, Troika and Horseshoe companies (case no. A50-19177/2023). The amount of the stated requirements is almost 500 thousand rubles. The court hearing is scheduled for October 13.

For the Perm retail chain, the current lawsuit is far from the first in the last few years. In 2021, an attempt to recognize the company "Oblprod" as insolvent was already made by Rustrans-Perm and Otkritie Financial Corporation. The application was filed in August (case A50-20227/2021).

It did not come to the recognition of the defendant as bankrupt then. The organization managed to completely close the debts to the credit institution. The amount of claims from Rustrans-Perm was also reduced, which did not allow the process to continue. As a result, the case was closed.

In February last year, Oblprod received a new bankruptcy claim (case no. A50-2601/2022). This time the process was initiated by the company "T Plus" (PAO). But this time the negative consequences were avoided. The firm repaid the debts even before the court had time to accept the application of "T Plus" for production.

Despite the successful exit from the threat of insolvency, litigation with counterparties had a negative impact on the financial position of the company. The once successful retail chain, which carried out wholesale trade (food, livestock feed, etc.), began to rapidly reduce its presence in the market.

In the past, there were 38 wholesale bases under the management of Oldprod. The firm controlled supermarkets in several regions of the country. According to Kommersant, the company owned by entrepreneur Alexey Busarov received only 1.3 million in revenue. Net profit in 2022 is about 13 thousand.
