THE HEAD OF THE FIRM IN THE TAMBOV REGION WAS CONVICTED OF PREMEDITATION

The company "Concrete-Product", which produced commercial concrete, was declared insolvent in 2018 on the initiative of one of the creditors. During the trial, it turned out that the director of the company did not fulfill the terms of the contracts for the lease, supply of goods and provision of services (the company was engaged in contract work and transported concrete).

Gradually, the company became overgrown with debts to the tax service. Insurance and pension contributions were not paid. The sanctions imposed by the tax authorities and various penalties were also ignored. As a result, the total accounts payable of the company amounted to more than 8 million rubles.

 

Despite the debts, the director managed to conclude contracts by selling equipment (concrete mixer truck) and the plant itself in the amount of just over 2 million rubles, while the estimated value of assets was more than 9 million rubles. In such conditions, the bankruptcy of the enterprise became inevitable.

The criminal activity of the head of the company was considered deliberate bankruptcy by the district court. The head of the firm received a suspended sentence (2 years) as punishment. In addition, he was assigned certain responsibilities. The head of the firm could not appeal the verdict. The judicial board of the regional court left the verdict of the district court unchanged.
