THE FORMER COACH OF BARCELONA FILED A LAWSUIT AGAINST THE FOOTBALL CLUB

The former head coach of Barcelona FC Quique Setien filed a lawsuit, according to which the club did not fulfill its obligations under the contract.

We are talking about compensation for early termination of the agreement. Quike Setien left Barcelona in August 2020, but the football club officially fired him only on 17 September. When he was informed about it, the 61-year-old coach tweeted that he intended to go to court, since the representatives of the club were silent for a month. Due to this, Quique and his headquarters could not start working with other teams.

According to the media reports, Setien is demanding 4 million euro from Barcelona.

Quique Setien has held the position of the head coach since January 2020 - during this time, the club has not won a single competition. As a result, the administration decided to dismiss Setien.
