THE FAMILIES OF KILLED ISRAELITES FILED A LAWSUIT AGAINST HAMAS
The District Court of Jerusalem is to consider a lawsuit filed by the families of three Israeli youths who were abducted and killed by Hamas in May 2014.
The amount of claims is over 500 million shekels, or about $ 155 million. According to the plaintiffs' comments, their goal is to stop the financing of Hamas from the Palestinian National Authority.
Assistance in filing a lawsuit was provided by the "Shurat adin" human rights organization, and the basis of the claims, among other things, is a certificate of the monthly transfer of funds from the Palestinian Authority in favor of Hamas.
The "Shurat adin" human rights organization, in turn, has already made a statement that all funds that are transferred from Ramallah to the Gaza Strip go to various branches of Hamas, and therefore should be arrested in favor of the plaintiffs.
According to the results of an earlier investigation, it turned out that money transferred to the terrorists was used to kidnap the young men who died six years ago.
The organizer of the kidnapping, recognized by the court, stated that he received such an assignment from Hamas, and the military wing of the terrorist organization, in turn, took the responsibility for the deed.
