THE CREDITOR OF THE SIBSELMASH PLANT DEMANDS TO BRING THE EX-DIRECTORS TO JUSTICE
The arbitration of the Novosibirsk region received an appeal from the company "Gormash", a creditor of one of the largest defense enterprises in Siberia. In the petition, the plaintiff asks to impose subsidiary liability on the former top managers of the enterprise, which has been in bankruptcy since 2011. The total debt of the company at the moment is about 1.3 billion.
Novosibirsk arbitration has so far left the application of "Gormash" without consideration. The plaintiff was given time to eliminate procedural violations related to the incompleteness of the package of documents submitted to the court. The plaintiff can correct the shortcomings until September 30.
The petition refers to three former managers of the Sibselmash plant. Oleg Kostochkin, Vladimir Ignatovsky and Gennady Grebenshchikov took turns as directors of the company in the period from 2007 to 2012.
The amount of debt that the creditor imputes to them is not indicated on the website of the judicial file.
Earlier, another creditor of the organization (the company "UniversalStroyInvest") has already filed a similar petition with the court. In August 2021, five managers, including former regional governor Vasily Yurchenko, who "lost the trust" of the President of the Russian Federation in 2014, became defendants in a similar claim for subsidiary responsibility. However, this appeal did not receive support in court.
Recall that the largest machine-building enterprise in Siberia has been going through bankruptcy since the fall of 2012 (case no. A45-4777/2010). By that time, the plant, which produced mining equipment and artillery ammunition, owed more than 1 billion rubles.
