The court will consider a claim of FPS against the constructors of Putin's residence
The Nikulinsky Court of Moscow has begun to consider the case on the claim of the FPS against five entrepreneurs. Previously, they were convicted of embezzlement during the construction of facilities on the territory of Vladimir Putin's residence in Novo-Ogaryovo.

The cumulative amount of claims is 1.3 billion rubles.

The managers of several companies that took part in the construction of facilities on the territory of the residence were declared as defendants in the case. Initially, the financial claims were less than a billion rubles, but after the additional examination was carried out in the framework of the criminal case, the size of the claims has increased significantly.

Each of the defendants was involved in a criminal case initiated four years ago under the article on large-scale fraud.

The proceedings began after the analysis of the fulfillment of the terms of the contract concluded by the Federal Protective Service with the ‘Ateks’ Federal State Unitary Enterprise and a number of subcontractors.

During the investigation, it turned out that part of the funds allocated under the contract was transferred under fictitious contracts to one-day companies, and then withdrawn and stolen.

In addition, it was found that a certain amount of funds was appropriated due to savings and the acquisition of  cheaper materials instead of the declared expensive ones.

As a result, all five persons involved in the criminal case pleaded guilty and actively cooperated in the investigation, helping to solve other crimes as well.

The case on the recovery of damages by the Nikulinsky court is still being considered, the proceedings were postponed for a month to provide the parties with the opportunity to present additional evidence, reports Kommersant.
