The company "Google" went to court with a claim for its own bankruptcy
Google, a company registered in the Russian Federation, filed a claim with the Moscow arbitration court, declaring insolvency. The relevant information appeared in the court file. At the same time, the date of consideration of the validity of the claim has not yet been set.

«Rusbankrot» already wrote about the decision of Google's «daughter» to initiate its own bankruptcy about a month ago. On May 18, the firm posted the necessary information on «Fedresurs», explaining the inevitability of its bankruptcy with sanctions imposed by law enforcement agencies and the court.

For the first time in Russian history, a revolving fine in the amount of 7.22 billion rubles was imposed on the organization.

The accounts of «Google» LLC were also seized by bailiffs. The lawsuit with the «Tsargrad» TV channel, whose YouTube account has not been unblocked, brought to life the court's decision on the fine. Its amount was supposed to increase exponentially. It turned out to be impossible for «Google» to fulfill obligations to other creditors in such conditions.

As Forbes notes, the Russian «daughter» of the American corporation legally acted independently of the parent company, not being its branch or representative office. The firm specialized in advertising and marketing issues related to the distribution of Google services.

The firm has repeatedly stated this in court. However, it did not help to save the company from a lot of fines. In addition to the lawsuit with «Tsargrad», whose founder Konstantin Malofeev has repeatedly announced plans to direct all funds received from Google to support a military special operation on the territory of Ukraine, the company has a lot of fines in other cases.

At the end of April, the company was arrested for 500 million rubles on the claim of the «daughter» of Gazprom Media.

The reason was the refusal since 2015 to publish her content on YouTube. Google continues to ignore the company's requirements to ensure the display of content. The IT company received a similar demand from NTV. And after the brand announced its intention to block the main Russian TV channels in March, lawsuits literally rained down from VGTRK, RT, Zvezda TV channel and other channels.

It is known that most of the employees who worked in the company were taken out of the capital abroad and now work in Dubai. According to the WSJ, the staff in Moscow consisted of 250 people. Those who refused to move were forced to terminate their employment contracts. According to the publication, the company will most likely not conduct business on the territory of the Russian Federation in the near future. Bankruptcy, in turn, will allow you to release the accounts from arrest and start settlements with advertising agencies that were partners of Google in Russia.
