The company constructing metro in Kazan is once again driven to bankruptcy
‘Kazmetstroy’ company is going to be declared bankrupt.  The process on the recognition of the insolvency of organization, initiated by Vladimir Mironov, has begun the Arbitration Court of Tatarstan. The entrepreneur who owns the MSM company in Nizhny Novgorod city is demanding 1.2 million rubles from the Kazan metro developer.

The bankruptcy petition was accepted by the arbitration court on September 30, and the hearing on the case should take place on November 23.  Experts note that Kazmetstroy JSC regularly becomes a defendant in insolvency cases.
This March, the company became a defendant in a similar claim against the Tatelektromontazh company, which demanded the recovery of 55.6 million rubles.
The lawsuit was subsequently withdrawn, and the bankruptcy case was dropped.  At the same time, the collection of an even larger debt (up to 100 million rubles) was demanded from the organization by the ‘NASCO’ company, which was in the procedure of bankruptcy management by the DIA.  Last fall, the capital's TransTonnelStroy JV sought the bankruptcy of the Kazan metro developers.

Judging by data from the open sources, Vladimir Mironov from Nizhny Novgorod is not the only one to whom Kazmetstroy JSC owes a large sum.  The information about the intention to seek the bankruptcy of the organization was announced by the ‘Spetspromstroy’ firm, which provided construction services.
By now, Kazmetrostroy has already built the first metro line in the capital of Tatarstan, which includes 11 stations.
The construction of the second line has recently begun.  It is known that the company ended last year with a loss of 31 million rubles, having received 106 million in revenue.  Previously, the enterprise was considered profitable.
