THE CITY-FORMING ENTERPRISE IN THE TAMBOV REGION WILL BANKRUPT THE FEDERAL TAX SERVICE

The Morshansky Medical Biochemical Combine (LLC "MMBHK"), located in the Tambov region, may be declared insolvent. The tax authorities have applied for bankruptcy of a large industrial enterprise. The declared amount of debt is more than 846.5 million rubles.

The organization has existed in the region since 2013, RBC clarifies. The production base for the company's work was the Volkovsky Distillery (CJSC). After the equipment at the enterprise was reconstructed, the organization began to produce ethyl acetate, glass washing liquids, thermal insulation and even feed yeast.

According to information published in open sources, the owner of the company is Igor Askerov. The plant is managed by Vladimir Biryukov. In 2019, the company received revenue in excess of 246 million rubles, Kommersant writes.

However, the following year the company's results turned out to be negative. Having received zero revenue, the plant ended 2020 with a net loss of $23.3 million.

It is known that the regional body of Roszdravnadzor several years ago tried to revoke the license that allowed the company to produce pharmaceutical products. Permits were received back in 2016. However, the arbitration court, which considered this issue, refused the supervisory service.
