TAX AUTHORITIES WILL BANKRUPT A LARGE TRAVEL AGENCY FROM SAMARA
On December 26, 2023, the Samara arbitration court appealed to the tax authorities (MI FTS No. 23) with a claim for the insolvency of Samaraintur-S (case No. A55-42050/2023). The amount of debt is about 411 thousand rubles. In early January, the court accepted the application for consideration.

It is known that the company is owned by Serafima Segal. Her parents are the founders of Samaraintour, a company that emerged in 1992 and was declared bankrupt in the fall of 2016.

In 2016, an organization with annual revenue of 60 million rubles became a defendant in an insolvency lawsuit filed by an individual. Alexander Strelkov demanded 400 thousand rubles from the defendant. During the trial, claims from creditors reached 113 million. In 2019, the bankruptcy proceedings were completed.

Samaraintur-S was officially registered in March 2015. She is engaged in both foreign and domestic tourism. The agency's website reports that the organization has signed contracts with leading tour operators and hotels. At the same time, the agency operates through the Samaraintour company. In 2022, the travel agency received revenue of 2.5 million rubles and a net loss of 1.7 million.

According to experts, business owners can decide on the bankruptcy of an affiliated person. At the same time, the legislation does not establish any restrictions on the number of bankruptcies of organizations.
They exist only for individuals.

However, the transfer of obligations from one legal entity to another is quite common in the practice of judicial proceedings. The court may oblige the company to which the bankrupt business has been transferred to respond vicariously to the debts of an affiliated structure engaged in similar activities or located at the same address.
