TAX AUTHORITIES INITIATE BANKRUPTCY OF SIBERIAN FISH FACTORY
The Novosibirsk arbitration received an application from the regional tax inspectorate (MI FTS No. 17) on the insolvency of the Novosibirsk Fish Factory (JSC). The amount of claims is over 1.33 million rubles (case no. A45-27824/2023). On October 20, 2023, the application was accepted for consideration. The hearing is scheduled for November 16.
In the past, the fish factory has already been in litigation with the tax authorities in an insolvency case. In 2018, the Federal Tax Service demanded that the organization be declared bankrupt due to the presence of debt in the amount of about 5.69 million. However, it did not come to bankruptcy proceedings, the fish factory managed to repay the debt, and the case was closed.
In 2021, it was reported that the plant is a unique enterprise for the region, which breeds sturgeon and whitefish fish. In the Upper Ob basin, the company is the only one trying to restore the population of the Red-listed Siberian sturgeon. The production capacity of the plant is designed to produce caviar in the amount of 250 million pieces, writes Kommersant.
Last year, the company made a loss of 8.6 million, and revenue – only 3.3 million rubles. In 2021, the revenue was about 11 million, while the net loss was 18.6 million.
In the past, the beneficiary of the company was Alexey July, known as a deputy of the Novosibirsk City Council and the head of the construction company "Discus". However, at the moment, information about the owners of the company is not disclosed.
