TAX AUTHORITIES DEMAND BANKRUPTCY OF KALININGRAD SUBDIVISION OF ‘ASSOCIATION OF LAWYERS OF RUSSIA’.

The Arbitration Court will consider the claim of the Tax Service on the insolvency of the Kaliningrad branch of the ‘Association of Lawyers of Russia’. The amount of monetary claims exceeded 600 thousand rubles. The application was filed at the end of last week, but hasn’t been accepted for hearings yet.

The organization was established in 2005 - Vladimir Putin himself was present at the Constituent Congress. Then the National Leader stated that, in his opinion, the professionals’ desire for unification, in this case, within the framework of the legal sphere, was quite natural.

The President noted that the establishment of the Powerful All-Russian Association of Lawyers will benefit the professional community.

At the moment, the organization has its own divisions in 84 constituent entities of Russia, including the Kaliningrad region. Among the areas of activity of the Association, both lawmaking and education and the provision of gratuitous legal aid and international activities are named.

The claim of the tax inspectorate is the first judicial matter for the Kaliningrad branch of the Association this year. In the 2020, several administrative claims were satisfied by court for a recovery of debts in favor of the Pension Fund from the Kaliningrad branch.
