Students are suing Apple over the absence of chargers in iPhone packages
Students of Beijing University of Chemistry and Technology and Donghua University have filed a large class action lawsuit against Apple.  The students are demanding that the company include a charger in an IPhone set, rather than selling it separately for big sums of money.

The fact is that new smartphones do not come with chargers.  The plaintiffs applied to the court back in September, claiming that Apple was violating the rights and interests of consumers.  At the moment, the case is being supplemented with additional evidence and documents.
Apple said there were no chargers included to protect the environment.
However, the plaintiffs disagree and argue that the company is doing this solely for the sake of making money, as if Apple really cared about the environment, they wouldn't make chargers at all.  But the company continues to release them, selling them separately.

Earlier, Apple stopped equipping iPhones with standard EarPods due to lower carbon emissions and retention of rare earths.  However, the iPhone 13 still comes with headphones for France and China.
