SBERBANK DEMANDS 274 MILLION FROM BUTURLINOVSKY MEAT PROCESSING PLANT AND SVINPROM
The Voronezh Arbitration Court accepted a lawsuit filed by Sberbank against Buturlinovsky Meat Processing Plant and Svinprom, the owner of the organization. The hearing is scheduled for September 17, 2024. The amount declared by the bank is about 274 million.

When applying to the court, the bank asked to seize the company's property assets within the limits of financial requirements. But the Voronezh arbitration court refused the applicant.

The meat processing plant, headed by Mikhail Romanenko, is located in Buturlinovka. The company has been operating since 2022, specializing in the production of chilled meat. Svinprom Trading House continues to be the sole founder of the organization. He himself, in turn, was under the control of businessman Andrey Knyazev until the beginning of 2022.

According to data for 2022, the meat processing plant received revenue of 2.2 billion rubles, while earning 9 million rubles as a net profit. Last year, the volume of revenue increased by 600 million, and profit increased by another 1 million.

The bank's lawsuit with the meat producer takes place against the background of the combine's attempt to declare itself bankrupt. In the middle of last month, the company applied to the court for its insolvency. But at the end of July, the management of the organization changed its mind about going bankrupt and a petition was submitted to arbitration, in which Buturlinovsky Meat Processing Plant refused the previously filed claim.

During the entire period of operation, the meat processing plant was a defendant in the arbitration court only three times. At the same time, in all lawsuits, the court was on the side of the enterprise. For the first time in 2004, the now-liquidated capital company Russian Audit tried to sue the organization. The company lost the process, claiming 466.9 thousand against the defendant.

At the beginning of 2022, the now bankrupt Agrosoyuz Bank filed a lawsuit against the company and its founder. The credit institution demanded to jointly recover 112.1 million from the defendants on the debts of the capital's Voskhod company. However, the arbitration refused to satisfy the stated requirements.

The last time the Processing Technologies company from the same Voronezh region sued the meat processing plant. The company, controlled by businessman Igor Klevtsov, demanded that the court oblige Buturlinovsky to transfer the plant's products (about 12.1 thousand kg) to it as unjustified enrichment. The plaintiff also insisted on paying a penalty (3 thousand for each day of delay) and reached the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, but lost.
