Russian Railways subsidiary is driven to bankruptcy by an individual
On October 25, the arbitration court received a claim with demands to declare Russian Railways Taxi JSC insolvent.  The insolvency was initiated by Aleksey Volosunov.  Other information on the case (No. À40-229768 / 2021) has not yet been reported, the claim itself has not yet been accepted for proceedings.

According to the Arbitr telegram channel, the subsidiary structure of Russian Railways was conceived in order to help citizens book transport directly at the counter at the station.  The ‘Rapid Soft’ company was engaged in the automation of the service.
RZD Taxi is currently being liquidated, and its partner RZD Taxi Center has already ceased to exist.
Experts suggest that the current bankruptcy claim against the company may be related to a lawsuit that earlier ended in the recovery of a large amount of money from the organization.

As a reminder, on September 21, 2018, the Moscow Arbitration Court ruled to recover a contractual obligation in the amount of 495.3 thousand rubles from Russian Railways Taxi under a 2013 contract.  The plaintiff then was another subsidiary of Russian Railways - ‘RZD-DEVELOPMENT OF STATIONS’.
A debt of more than 4 million rubles was also collected under a loan agreement dated 2015, with 3 million being the main debt and more than 1 million more accrued interest.
In April 2021, the judge of the Moscow arbitration court Yulia Arkhipova issued a ruling on the procedural successor of RZD-DEVELOPMENT OF STATIONS - it was Alexei Volosunov, who now demands bankruptcy of RZD Taxi.  According to the assumptions of the Arbitr telegram channel, the upcoming bankruptcy of a subsidiary of Russian Railways may be controlled.
