RUSSIAN BANKER SUES YOUTUBE AND GOOGLE OVER VIDEOS
At the initiative of the banker and entrepreneur Igor Kim, an application against YouTube and Google was submitted to the arbitration court. The document contains several claims regarding the video published on the video hosting.
Thus, the entrepreneur expressed his disagreement with the information contained in the material.
The businessman asked the court to recognize the information that he was suspected of forming a banking pyramid and withdrawing cash using the resources of his own foreign banks as false and discrediting his business reputation.
The plaintiff also expressed disagreement with the opinion that he had a "protection of the authorities." In particular, we are talking about Senator Dmitry Sablin and the oligarch Roman Abramovich.
Kim demanded that the defendants remove the scandalous video - at his request, the claim has already been transferred into a separate proceeding.
It is worth noting that the entrepreneur is the owner of a large fortune. He was twice included in the Forbes list of the 200 richest businessmen of Russia - in 2009 and in 2011. Then Kim's fortune was estimated at $ 0.4 billion and $ 0.5 billion, respectively.
