ROSNEFT FILED A COUNTERCLAIM AGAINST TRANSNEFT FOR 6 BILLION
Rosneft intends to recover losses from Transneft in the amount of over 6 billion rubles, but the reasons for their occurrence are still unknown (A40-196353/2023).
The counterclaim was accepted by the court for joint consideration with the claim of Transneft for the recovery of about 4.8 billion rubles from Rosneft.
The organizations clashed over a project to build a new branch of an oil pipeline in the Krasnodar Territory.
Within the framework of the oil transportation agreement, the parties concluded an agreement on a special tariff. Part of it was to be used for the construction of an additional branch of the pipeline.
This agreement was suspended in 2012, as indicated by a representative of Rosneft, however, Transneft gave the opposite opinion, indicating that the counterparty owed more than 3.7 billion rubles under the agreement.
