Promsvyazbank demands to recover losses from blocking financial transfer operations from Ost-West Handeslbank (formerly VTB Bank Europe). The corresponding claim was filed with the Arbitration Court of the capital (case no. A40-221329/2024).
The applicant demands from Ost-West Handeslbank ˆ12 million, ?43,355.1 and 11,704.1 francs in ruble equivalent at the exchange rate of the Central Bank. The hearing on the case will be held on December 13.
Recall that after the introduction of European sanctions against VTB in 2022, the German regulator suspended a credit institution from the Russian Federation from managing the structure. The trustee, in turn, decided to liquidate VTB Bank Europe. Its name was later changed to - Ost-West Handeslbank.
