The Arbitration Court of the Altai Territory will soon have to consider the insolvency case of the ‘Water utilities’ of the city of Biysk.  A statement of intention to drive the company to bankruptcy was posted on Fedresurs earlier this week. One of the long-standing creditors of the Altaienergosbyt enterprise may become the initiator of the procedure.

The potential debtor is located in the city of Biysk, Altai Territory, and has existed for 19 years. The company has an authorized capital of 50 million rubles and is engaged in water supply. The city is the only participant in the enterprise.

A statement of intention to initiate bankruptcy proceedings the ‘Water utilities’ of Biysk was published by Altaienergosbyt JSC on October 4 at the website of the Unified Federal Register of Bankruptcy Information, reports Bankfax.

The potential size of the lender's financial claims against the company may reach 7.8 million rubles.

This year alone, the aggregate amount of Altaienergosbyt’s claims against the debtor exceeded 7 million rubles, and most of the claims have already been satisfied. A month ago, the Arbitration Court of the Altai Territory issued a decision on the claim in the amount of 4.4 million rubles, but the decision did not come into force, as an appeal was filed against it.
