NOVOSIBIRSK COFFEE CHAIN WILL BE BANKRUPTED BY AN AFFILIATED STRUCTURE
On March 27, 2023, an application for bankruptcy of the company "Coffee Collective" was submitted to arbitration. Its co–owners are currently Maria Zueva and Alexey Nagibin. The amount of the claim is 16.4 million rubles. The initiator of the process is EC Sibmining, which became insolvent in 2021 with a debt of 1.4 billion.

Alexey Nagibin, who owns a 50% stake, founded the "Coffee Collective" in 2015. His partner was Kuzbass businessman Vladimir Pernikov. Since July 2016, coffee shops under the banner of Coffee Collective have been opening in the capital of Siberia. Now the coffee shop chain includes three enterprises in Novosibirsk and one in the territory of Kuzbass.

According to the "Continent Siberia", each of the organizations officially operates as an independent legal entity ("Hedonism", "Medica", "Bru Bar"). Even if the court accepts the claim for consideration, catering companies will not be affected by the process, continuing to operate as before.

The interests of EC "Sibmining" are represented by the bankruptcy trustee Georgy Semenov. The main beneficiary of Sibmining EC is Denis Molchanov (his share is 75%). According to the NGS, borrowed funds became the basis for applying to the court. Under several contracts, the "Coffee Collective" received them from the EC "Sibmining" shortly before the company was declared bankrupt.

The loan agreement was issued at 0.001%. Such a low rate is explained by family ties. The founder of the defendant is the sister of the co–owner of the plaintiff.

By the arbitration decision in 2022, "Coffee Collective" was obliged to return the loan amount to the organization. Part of the funds (10.3 million) was paid, however, the organization still owes most of the amount (16.4 million). This was the reason for the bankruptcy trustee's application for insolvency.
