MOSCOW COMPANY DEMANDS TO DECLARE BANKRUPTCY OF SOUTH KUZBASS PJSC
An application to declare bankruptcy of South Kuzbass PJSC was submitted to the Court of Arbitration of the Kemerovo Region. It has already been accepted by the court for proceedings, the issue of the validity of the claims will be considered on May 31.

The case was initiated by the Moscow company Besko LLC, the debt to which amounted to 8.7 million rubles.

The potential debtor has existed for 28 years and unites both coal mining and coal processing industries. According to the company's own data, over the years of its activity, South Kuzbass PJSC produced over 335 million tons of coal of various kinds.

The company is engaged in the supply of products both to the domestic market and abroad.

Foreign partners include Asian and European states, including Japan, India, the Netherlands, Italy and Germany.

The debt to Besko LLC arose from a supply relationship and was confirmed by a court decision. In 2019, the parties committed themselves to the supply of spare parts. The lender fulfilled the terms of the contract on his part, but did not receive the payment for the goods stipulated by the agreement. The decision made at the end of last year in favor of the plaintiff was contested on appeal, but remained in force. Probably, the amount recovered by the court was not returned to the applicant, which was the reason for filing an insolvency petition for the Kemerovo coal mining enterprise.
