MARS MEDIA DEMANDS MILLIONS OF RUBLES FROM THE COMPANY OF MIKHAIL GALUSTYAN
Mars Media Entertainment film company did not manage to recover 15 million 65 thousand 660 rubles from the Fresh-Film company and applied to court. It is known that the Fresh-Film is owned by the actor Mikhail Galustyan. The claim has not yet been accepted for consideration by the arbitration court (case ¹ À40-143429 / 2021).

Mars Media company is owned by Ruben Dishdishyan. Previously, the company participated in the project of filming the ‘Coma’ along with the Big Cinema Company (BCC), the beneficiary of which is Ghevond Andreasyan. The sale of film raised about 150 million rubles, while the filming, according to the creators, cost 250 million.

The producers said that the reason for the loss of profits was the pandemic, which did not allow the organization of the overseas distribution of the film.

In addition to Mars Media, which invested in ‘Coma’ about 50 million rubles, the Film Fund, Fresh-Film and KIT (a subsidiary of Gazprom-Media) allocated funds for the filming process. The litigation between Mars Media and KBK ended with the parties agreeing to conclude an amicable agreement. According to its terms, Dishdishyan's enterprise waived some of the demands and received exclusive rights to the ‘Coma’ and ‘Robo’ films.

It was also reported that 15 million rubles from KBK was also demanded by Galustyan's company, which eventually received commercial rights to ‘The Unforgiven’. According to insiders, it was the amount for which the Fresh-Film issued a guarantee to Mars Media. Most likely, as experts suggest, the main requirement had not been fulfilled and the company demanded money from the guarantor.
