“LEADER” CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IS DRIVEN TO BANKRUPTCY OVER DEBTS
"Leader" construction company may again become a defendant in an insolvency suit. The Omsk company could have been involved in bankruptcy proceedings as early as October and December 2021. Several partners posted information about their respective intentions, but as a result, applications were not sent to the arbitration.
But the lawsuit from the "Betonprom" firm got to court. The basis for this was a court verdict adopted at the end of 2021. The Omsk Arbitration Court made a decision that "Leader" CC must pay 3.16 million rubles of debt and 1.92 million rubles of a penalty under the concluded contracts. The current bankruptcy petition includes an amount of 4.8 million rubles.
The construction company had previously violated several contracts, which caused their termination by counterparties. It also appeared in the list of unscrupulous suppliers, although it is currently no longer in the register. Most likely, as experts suggest, the partners are tired of waiting for the fulfillment of obligations by the "Leader" CC. The company did not pay its debts for the last three months after the court decision was made, which means that formally all the grounds for bankruptcy were created.
