KRASNOYARSK DEVELOPER IS REQUIRED TO BE DECLARED BANKRUPT
The Krasnoyarsk Arbitration Court (the Arbitration Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory) has received a claim for declaring the company "Monolithholding" insolvent. The construction company is one of the largest in the region. The initiator of the process was the tax authorities (MI FTS No. 1). They demand the collection of tax debts in the amount of more than 7 million. Despite the relatively small amount of debt, the very fact of filing an application raises questions, given the scale of the developer's current activities.

The Monolithholding company is known for its development projects on the territory of the regional capital. Among them are residential complexes in several districts and other iconic objects (for example, the First Tower and the Arbitration Court building).

Currently, the company is implementing a grandiose project of the residential complex "Yudinsky". It is designed for 35 thousand residents. It is planned to build 800 thousand square meters of living space. This large-scale project covers an area of 158 hectares in the area of the Fruit and Berry Station. To implement it, the company entered into an agreement with VTB Bank on long-term lending in the amount of 100 billion rubles.

Interestingly, the initiative for the Yudinsky project dates back to 2013. Then, on the basis of a land lease agreement with government agencies, the development of district layouts began. The project involves the construction of both high-rise and low-rise buildings, which should form a harmonious urban space. However, plans to create green areas are limited only to landscaping along roads — parks are not provided in the project. The district will include schools, kindergartens, clinics and other social facilities. However, the environmental component, judging by the project documents, remains minimal.

Against the background of such a large-scale activity of Monolithholding, the amount of tax debt seems insignificant. But the trial may cast a shadow on the company's reputation. The court's decision to accept the claim for production has not yet been made, this issue is being considered within the time limits established by law.

The situation with the developer's tax obligations raises many questions, given the scale of his current activities and already approved plans. Probably, further developments will become a litmus test not only for the financial condition of the company, but also for its ability to implement its projects.
