JSC SUKHOI COMPANY IS SUING SBERBANK OVER 291 MILLION RUBLES
On June 10, the Moscow Arbitration Court received a lawsuit from the Sukhoi aircraft manufacturer with claims against Sberbank for 290.8 million rubles. The case has not yet been accepted for production.

At the end of 2020, Sukhoi was already in litigation with the bank. Then the court hearings were held behind closed doors, no details were reported. However, it is known that it was about 232 million rubles and the claim was partially satisfied.

In 2016-2020, the subjects of litigation were the transactions of the deliverable currency option between the companies.

The prosecutor's office tried to invalidate the deal for 13.5 billion rubles, since the authorities believed that its implementation would negatively affect the defense interests of the state. Sberbank twice wrote off 844 million rubles from Sukhoi as a transaction, until in 2016 the prosecutor's office blocked this opportunity.

In 2019, the prosecutor's claim was satisfied and the option transactions were invalidated. Sberbank tried to file appeals and cassation complaints, but they were rejected.
