INVESTIGATIVE COMMITTEE INITIATED CRIMINAL CASES BECAUSE OF PORTRAITS OF FASCISTS IN THE IMMORTAL REGIMENT MARCH
The Russian Investigative Committee initiated criminal cases after attempts to post pictures of the Nazis at the Immortal Regiment March in May 2021. Among the offenders, there were citizens of the Russian Federation and Ukraine.

The Investigative Committee reported that criminal cases were opened against residents of several regions. They are suspected of a crime under Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - the rehabilitation of Nazism.

Four of the accused tried to post photos of Goebbels, Hitler and Vlasov (who is a traitor) on the website of the Immortal Regiment.

Two of them are citizens of Ukraine, and two are natives of the Tomsk and Orenburg regions. It is known that the Investigative Committee is conducting a check in relation to another individual - he tried to place a photo of a person who is not a Nazi, but also has nothing to do with veterans, in the Immortal Regiment.

At the moment, communications and computers have been removed from the suspects, and the investigation is clarifying all the circumstances of the incident. The IC noted that they would not allow the approval of Nazi crimes.

We should recall that last year, a student of one of the colleges of Perm received 200 hours of correctional labor the publication of a photograph of General Vlasov in the ‘Immortal Regiment’. For posting a photo of Hitler, a resident of Voronezh received a fine of 90 thousand rubles, while for a similar crime, a resident of Kazan had already punished for 150 thousand rubles and 1 year of conditional sentence.
