H&M SUED IN THE AMOUNT OF 700 THOUSAND RUBLES DUE TO INFRINGEMENT OF THE RIGHTS OF RUSSIANS

The initiator of the trial was a lawyer from Primorsky Krai Dmitry Kachan. As a justification for his claim, Kachan refers to the unlawful infringement of the rights of citizens of the Russian Federation, expressed in the suspension of sales in connection with the special operation.

According to the text of the statement of claim on the official website of the company, the goods are displayed as available, and there is even an opportunity to arrange delivery. However, it is impossible to place an order, due to the fact that H&M does not operate in the Russian Federation.

Thus, according to Kachan, the rights of consumers on a national basis are infringed.

On the basis of this, he demands in court to recover from the company compensation for moral damage in the amount of 700 thousand rubles.
