Several hundred firms filed petitions to the arbitration court with a request to include their financial claims in the insolvency case of the Russian "daughter" of the international corporation Google LLC. Among them are media publications (Rossiyskaya Gazeta, RBC and Kommersant), IT representatives (Netologiya and 1C-Bitrix) and a number of others.

According to Vedomosti, 66 organizations were included in the third stage of the company's creditors' register. Their financial requirements exceed 100 million rubles. The largest claims against Google LLC were made by Shkulev Media and VTB Leasing. They have made claims for 31.2 million and 24.3 million rubles, respectively. A significant part of the lawsuits are related to violations of the obligations of the distributor of advertising by Google.

According to Roskomnadzor, the firm owed 19.6 billion as a revolving fine. According to the representative of the supervisory authority, the company voluntarily paid 62 million rubles. Bailiffs forcibly recovered another 8.7 billion. At the same time, the total amount of fines imposed on Google recently is more than 28.3 billion rubles.

After the Internet giant refused to meet the requirements of VGTRK and restore access to the content of TV channels in the YouTube service, the court in June 2022 arrested half a billion rubles that were on Google accounts. Prior to that, in December 2021, the court, guided by the complaint of Roskomnadzor, fined the company (in the amount of 5% of annual revenue) for refusing to remove content prohibited by the authorities of the Russian Federation. As a result, the Russian "daughter" declared bankruptcy.
