Construction materials-99 industrial and commercial firm (ICF), which the residents of Omsk know as a well-known developer, may be declared bankrupt. The sole owner of the company is Natalya Dernova, a cousin of billionaire Roman Abramovich.

Representatives of the Federal Tax Service filed an application for bankruptcy of the organization with the Omsk regional court of arbitration. The company owes 2.5 million rubles to the treasury of the country.

The lawsuit was filed by the tax authorities at the end of April, and by the court ruling of May 4, the application was left without movement. The reason for this was the lack of evidence in the case that the debtor possesses the assets necessary to carry out legal procedures related to bankruptcy. Now representatives of the Federal Tax Service must provide such evidence by May 27. Otherwise, the application will be returned back to the plaintiff.

Experts point out that Dernova's company has had financial problems since 2019, when the tax authorities first tried to start bankruptcy of the developer.

Then the financial claims of the Federal Tax Service against the ICF were 8 million rubles, but the case did not come to bankruptcy proceedings and the court terminated it.

How the situation will unfold this time is not entirely clear. However, given the losses of 18.4 million rubles that the company showed in 2020, as well as a serious decrease in revenue by 26 million rubles, the situation may take an unpleasant turn for a relative of billionaire Abramovich.
