Applications to the capital arbitration from the FSB of the Russian Federation were received on March 13. The defendant in the case is Vostochnaya Shipyard, which initiated its bankruptcy process earlier. Representatives of the special service demand 1,125,2 million rubles from the company in two claims.

The grounds for the claims have not been made public, and the statements themselves have not yet been accepted by the court for consideration, Vedomosti clarifies.

Earlier Rusbankrot has already covered the financial situation with the leading shipbuilding company of Primorye. In May last year, the St. Petersburg firm MSS tried to bankrupt the company. Vostochnaya Shipyard owed her 2.16 million rubles. But it never came to the beginning of the process.

Last fall, the company itself declared bankruptcy. It was reported that the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) may become the new owner of the Vostochnaya Shipyard. The lender of the Promsvyazbank organization asked the court to participate in the case and impose a ban on registration actions with real estate. However, the arbitration rejected the bank's request in December 2022.

The shipyard is a leading company in the Far East, founded in 1952. Since 1994, the organization has the status of a joint-stock company. It is known that the FSB structures are customers of the shipyard's products. In addition, the company produces warships, berths and supply vessels for the navy.
